Hello I am currently a Data Analyst for a Data Science & Analytics team where I build a lot of Tableau dashboards for end users to digest modeling outputs. I have about 3 years of experience with Tableau and love using the tool and everything about it! I would like to transition to a Solutions Engineer role for Tableau at Salesforce. Anyone who works in this role have any advice on how I can make this transition and land an interview?

Need negotiating advice: I think I’m about to receive an offer. In my initial screen I gave target TC range (mistake for giving a number first, I know, I regret it) and recruiter said base pay was around there anyway, yay! But now I’m realizing I did bad math on the spot (more mistakes, I know) and I really do need base pay to be around that range to make a move worth it. I have a nagging feeling I’m now going to get low balled on base pay, any tips to negotiate that back up?

Should I leave Deloitte for a move to a new city + a mid size firm job in a litigation practice area I’m not interested in, just for the sake of gaining law firm experience? (Been at big 4 one year graduated law school in 2021) or stay at Deloitte a little longer until I find a job in an area I actually want to learn about

Hi ! I have gotten an offer via email for what I believe is level 9 data visualization specialist in the dc area. I have a masters and 3.5 years of consulting experience. I’ve gotten an initial offer and trying to get some context on what the range is for this and whether I should push for more or accept. I had my Assessor interview this past week and received a pre-screening questionnaire that asked about dual citizenship status. Because I don't even have a passport for the country I am a dual citizen for, I didn't even think about the possibile complications this could lead to with my application. I applied through a career fair at school and didn't see the citizenship requirements, so I guess that's on me.

I’m joining Accenture Federal soon and had some questions about parental leave. First, is there a minimum timeframe you have to work for Accenture before they let you take maternity/parental leave. Secondly, in the recruiting brochure maternity leave is separate from parental leave. Can you take both of you are the primary caretake for a total of 4 months?
