Beyond 2 lines the text in each post card is cut off. I wonder how many lines in the comment section?
Not crashing anymore.
Maybe we should implement something like automatic posts refresh? I got a notification about "someone like mypost" but it isn't displaying at the post title...
What salary range would you describe as middle class. LCOL I considered my family middle class when my dad made 50k in the 90s. Life seemed alright. 25 years later my dad and I both are at around 170, but I still consider us middle class like we were in the 90s, but now it feels like more of a struggle
I vacationed on a luxury ($40M) yacht this past week. The owner is a family friend and owns a Hedge Fund. I realized that in order to generate real wealth you have to own your own business. The small increments I get for promotions will never allow me to create real wealth. Starting my own business seems like it will cost my mental and physical health. The American Dream of making it from the bottom to the top seems “almost” unattainable. Anyone else feel this way?
There is a partner that reeks of alcohol everytime he gets back from lunch. Would you say something? I honestly don't think he knows. Getting split advice.
Do any of you truly get offended if someone says "Merry Christmas" (or sends you a card) and you're not Christian? Or "Happy Hanukkah" and you're not Jewish? Trying to gauge if this is a real thing.
My friends little sister is graduating undergrad and has an offer from Strategy& for $100k and McKinsey for $90k (pretty sure McK is going to bump soon). Im obviously biased to McK but want to show her other perspectives. Which one should she choose and why?? And and all feedback is welcomed!
Best city/suburb to live in the US? Looking for good public schools, temperate weather, outdoor activity options, not overly expensive.
I billed 9 hours to my client, but really I’ve been in bed and watched Seinfeld all day. Am I going to hell?
Male client just told me to tell one of women on my team that her communication style is “too aggressive” so if anyone knows of a good bridge to throw him off of, I’m open to suggestions.
Tell me why anyone needs to work past 6pm. Are you understaffed? Scoped poorly? Bad leadership? If we are glued to our computer the entire day, why do we need to do it all night as well?
My boss is making me spend New Years Eve with him as a team building event - but it’s just me and him. How do I politely tell him no?
