Having an animal friend with cancer is not something easy. This year I have already had 24 animals that went to sleep in order to stop suffering. This is not easy for their families at all. It seems to me that the cancer stats in domestic animals are increasing, is this just me?

I am 52 I have been feeling so tired and when I was in my 40’s. I had a lot more energy. Now I am so tired after work - but I have 4 girls ages, 16-15-13-9. My mom won't wear her Fitbit to bed. She has a pacemaker and has had a fib. We got it for Christmas so we could find out while she's in an episode and not a month later. She read or saw somewhere that it interferes with pacers. I looked it up and it's not a legit concern, but wanted more opinions before I advise.

I see a lot of people who have crippling anxiety here work out to feel better. My crippling anxiety kind of paralysis my legs (or at least feels like it to the point that I can’t even walk). Does anyone have similar symptoms and solution for it?

Anyone else here realized they have some alcohol moderation issues? I graduated college within the past 1.5 yrs and my friends are still in the heavy weekend drinking phase. I have realized I need to cut my drinking way down. I don’t drink every day and won’t crave a drink when I’m sober but it’s like once I start I don’t typically stop. I only drink about 2 times a week, but it’s the volume of drinks that’s the issue. I’m not ready to quit - just cut down a lot! Tips/advice appreciated! TIA :)

I was recently (in April) fired from a good nursing position that I was at for 5 years. I reached out to my old ADON to get some information on where we had our vaccinations from and she told me that I should come back and the administrator that I had issues with is gone. I applied for a job at a well-known healthcare company a couple of months ago. I had a number of remote interviews and then they asked me to fly out for a final round of in-person interviews. Later that week they told me that they were going to be making an offer. Another week has gone by and still no offer. They said they are still working on it. Is this the new norm for recruiting? I have other offers and can't keep waiting for these foot draggers.

Anyone willing to share how much they are making as an Mri technologist in Chicago? I know downtown pays better then suburbs. I work in one of the big university hospitals and make 40 per hour. I have masters and 6 years of experience. I recently learned that a new grad who doesnt have his state boards yet has 39 per hour. A coworker experience of 20 years gets 50per hour. Not sure what to think of their weird pay scale. 🙂
