They’ve laid out the data they want to see (market, patients, competition etc). Would you start with summarising your decision and the whys, or build the story and then provide recos at the end? 20 min presentation with ~8-9 slides.

For people who have gone from PA to industry, how do you combat “being bored”.. I do 20-25 hrs/week and I feel like I’m not learning. I really do appreciate the extra time to be with family and get chores done, but I feel like I’m not learning/progressing. Have you made the switch back to PA?

I’m 40 and recently transitioned to UX/Product Design. I completed a bootcamp, continue to improve my skills. I network, have coffee chats, attend virtual events, iterated my portfolio and resume. Hi everyone! Idk if I need advice or I’m venting but I’ve been looking for jobs actively right now and want to make a switch soon. There’s a gap in terms or compensation for the jobs I’m being approached for. These jobs offer the same compensation I’m at or slightly higher (5-7%). This is demotivating and I honestly don’t know what to do. I don’t make an awful lot (105K in NYC) and I’m looking for a 20-30% bump in terms of compensation. Am I crazy here?

One of the reasons I want to transition from industry to consulting (tier 1) is that I get frustrated when I have to collaborate with mediocre people. My assumption is that Tier 1 consulting firms hire really sharp people and if I can get in, I’ll be collaborating with folks on top of their game (not expecting much from clients). I’m aware there are personal aspects I need to work on like my mindset, patience etc etc, but I just get so frustrated with blatant stupidity.
