I have to agree. Joking about how someone leaves cabinets open or forgets things might seem harmless, but would we get away with teasing dyslexics or people with Alzheimer’s with similar zeal?

I think part of what’s going on is a lot of people with very mild or undiagnosed adhd claim it to justify everyday forgetful or lazy behavior.

A therapist said to close her door if we don’t want to see it but it’s more than that. She needs this important life skill & I don’t know how to help. Googling ADHD today (I’m having a distracted day) and super frustrated because I’m realizing that I was likely misdiagnosed as depressed for years. Found you tube channel ADDitutde magazine. Several really good presentations with recent developments Thought I’d share.

Hi! I’m a young professional with less than 2 years experience, started a new job 1.5 months ago. I’m having quite some difficulties on balancing out my response time to tasks. While I act incredibly fast if not immediately with some, I sometimes take 1-2 weeks with couple of hours worthy ones. Sometimes I ignore, procrastinate or simply other more urgent things come up to increase the delay. Also I work with 3 managers in my team which doesn’t help with expectations nor guidance. Any tips pls?

I know I’m not alone that people don’t want to return to the office. My ADHD and the open office just makes working from the office a nightmare and I’m feeling really nervous and kind of resentful.
