Hello!
I finished my final round(s) for a TAM position at Google (GCP) last week and was told by my recruiter that my feedback was great and that I made a solid impression on the team and am "firmly in the running". I was supposed to hear back this week (according to the recruiter) but he just told me that it's still in the process and that I'll have to wait for another week or so.
Is this common at Google ? I have heard they are notorious for being really slow with their hiring process.

I don’t know the answer to your question, but I’m very curious as to how you even got to the point where you could be perceived as annoying in between interviews. Isn’t it basically like, “we’d like to interview you at x time on y date. Does that work for you? Do you have any questions?”
What could you have done to be annoying?
I can’t imagine that they’ve dinged you at all, let alone over that.
I think you’d have to really go out of your way to cause a concern in values or integrity in order to drop out of the process in between interviews. What most likely happened is that interviewers suddenly got sick/busy/delayed/etc and interview will be rescheduled.
Either way, there’s usually a clear policy of sharing feedback with candidates together with any decision post the interview stage
Yes but it was a reschedule not complete cancel and ghost. Also yes, they provided a reasoning for the reschedule.
