I joined in Accenture as level 8. Prior to joining, I was apporached by a project, and they seemed to not convince with my lack of knowledge about the role hence they dropped me even after contacting couple of times. Now I have got call from another one and they also seem to be not fully sure because my last role was very different. My question is how difficult is it to get a project in Accenture? Will this interviews continue? Also, what are the chances of me getting a suitable role?

Pro Tip: Avoid Creative Circle. They are trash.
If it’s so high why are you engaging w them at all?
Generally the staffing firm will have a contract with the client on how hiring directly works. So a direct hire fee is usually 15 to 20% (let’s use 15 for now because it’s just easier) of the candidates salary, if they hire you before 30 days the have to play the 15%, if the hire you before 60 days it’s 10%, and before 90 days it’s 5%, and after 90 they can usually hire you outright.
It’s probably a little different depending on the staffing firm and the client agreement, but that’s pretty typical. The client initiates that process, but I think it’s fine just to have a conversation with your boss to see if there they plan to convert you to perm.
Yes, if you are paid $100/hr the talent agency will charge you out at $125-135/hr. So if you can go direct to the client agency, you can ask for around $125-135. At least in pharma. The client agency will probably try and talk you down to $100-115 ... $115 is better than $100.
Maybe this is just my experience, but in the past when I’ve signed with any head hunter agency, they specifically have clauses about exits to work for the client. As in, I wasn’t supposed to do work outside the scope or sign with the client directly unless it was through the head hunter agency so they could get their $.
If you have a previous contract, read through it to make sure this kind of thing is legal. Maybe a recruiter can shed more light on this though!
There’s usually a buy out clause if converted to staff prior to the contract ending, known to the agency/staffing firm. I’ve seen as high as 45% 6 months in.
I believe the contract for Creative Circle is that you can’t get work directly with the client for at least a year after they introduce you. I recommend reading through your contract before going direct.
I have reported creative circle job listings on LinkedIn many times as scam. They indulge in many predatory & shady practices and i encourage you all to report them and shun them.
They exploit people by taking part of your salary.
I swear on my mother that is not the norm I know. I would love to know the firms that do that.
I think why cut them out if they worked to get you the role? But it’s a 6 month to 1 year hold on introductions.
It is not in perpetuity. The term is in the agency-client agreement
A better question is has anyone contacted Solomon Page or Creative Circle about a gig they posted and EVER gotten a response?
