Has anyone exited without a job lined up? 2nd year MBB associate and don’t want to make manager….and health has deteriorated too much to continue this job. I have some conversations and interviews through my network lined up but am budgeting upto 6 months.

The other consideration is that I’m halfway through a graduate program. It’s part-time so I’ve been going slow but could overload a few credits for the months I’m not employed and stay busy. Could use that as bridge on resume…thoughts?

My friend is a 4th year public defender in NYC. T14 grad and easily one of the smartest, most capable attorneys and professionals I know. I find all so often you need to tell the client what they want to hear to keep their business and I feel like so much of the what I recommend doesn't actually get implemented. I'm looking to make a career switch so I can both create and execute on my strategies. A product management path seems very promising for this.

hello! I’m looking to get some insight to see if I’m being paid fairly for where I’m at in my career. I’ve worked at the same company for 2.5 years. This is my first job out of college. Just got another rejection... Is exiting to FAANG or MB really this hard? Trying to go tech.. or mbb, but not getting anywhere. I have 2 masters (mba, ms) from top schools, been in consulting for over 10 years, I am confident that I know my stuff well..but still I keep getting rejected. Interviewed with Google, Amazon, Cisco, McKinsey, and a few others and every-time there is something that is not a match... are the hiring managers looking for like 100% match? That will never happen!!!

I’ve got 2YOE but not at a big firm and can’t help feeing I’m missing out on something (name brand, skills, network etc).
