McKinsey & Company I did my final round with McKinsey today, and I I received a rejection call from the partner today. However, he said I did really great and wants to keep in touch with me. He also mentioned that I should reapply in 6 months. Does anyone have any similar experience? Do I have a better chance if I reapply next time?McKinsey & Company

Consider taking a short term disability break or a leave of absence to regenerate yourself and also give you time to interview
I’ve already taken short-term disability. If I take LOA, I have to come back and work the same amount of time I’ve been absent to be eligible for separation time (2 paid months to job hunt). Don’t really want to throw away that paid time either

Yeah I did. No problem, and it was great for my health. I was freaking losing my hair and getting fat. Couldn’t sleep well, stressed as heck. So not worth it.
You do you, champ. Go take that break and get back when ready!
Yes. Done this twice. Resume was in pretty good shape both times, and I had 5-10 years of experience.
Me, I'm about to. Good luck OP!
Health > any job if you have enough money to feed yourself and your family. Although it takes good 6 months to find a job you would want to pursue but if things are bad, then prioritise health
This is partially what search time is for - you should be able to get a few months to do your search. Best of luck!
