I’ve done it. Got a second job paying only 85k. My strategy was to explain to the recruiter that you are targeting a new niche or focusing in on one area and are not as concerned about salary as you are with gaining new experience. The recruiter ate it up when I told him that.
Smart! I have to use that. It sounds so much better than what I’ve been saying - looking for something 100 % remote.
Oooh. Following.
I think that is the goal. U want to find a second job that you really don’t care about and will not add too much stress. You’re doing it just for the extra income.
Keep searching for a j2 that pays at least what you’re making now, but simply be pickier about what your willing to do.
I’m finding that when you can be picky, you can find a J2 that has a fraction of the load, where you do only what you want to do.
