Has anyone had Kaiser? I would be a new patient. What’s it like getting your medication and treatment? I am worried about getting Kaiser and then not having access to my medication, but it’s the most affordable option for me.

I found Kaiser very easy to use for everything except mental health, which was utterly useless. However, if you were already previously diagnosed and the meds are just a continuation, can’t imagine there would be any issue. Best if you can have previous medical records sent over.

i had it before and like the comment above said it was very easy to use and they covered everything but my copay from what I remember. It was a pretty good health plan too.

Once you have a diagnosis its much easier to get your RX refilled and their supply is pretty good compared to other pharmacies. I'm not on meds currently but my son also has ADHD and its no issue getting refills.

A female friend of mine recently received a settlement in a sexual harassment action against her employer during mediation. Upon receiving her (female) attorney’s final bill she was blown away to discover that her attorney charged her almost five times what the attorney estimated she would charge for the mediation. I have not been diagnosed with ADHD. I definitely fit some of the characteristics that go unnoticed in females. The good news is if i do have ADHD, it makes me quite good at my job as I’m very flexible and can provide positive energy to my patients. Anyway, my boss has told me I have ADHD multiple times. It seems rude when she says it, and she follows it up with “I say that because I love you” which i feel is so unprofessional all around. Anyone have guidance on how to handle this?

I recently got diagnosed with ADHD. I'm 31 and found this only because b school and post mba consulting job was/is much more challenging than anything I did before. What I'm confused about is that even as a teenager I could read entire books overnight. But the last two years of high school I started selectively zoning out and the problem has become worse since. I just realised it now. My doctor has suggested treating depression (I was also unaware of this) with Wellbutrin first (contd)

My psychiatrist today revealed to me that I may have ADHD, still a hypothesis that he is still exploring but from my personal experiences and discussions with therapist, it seems likely.

One example of personal experience is my ongoing prep for case studies as I'm interviewing with a number of firms. Here is my dilemma: I was passed up for manager promo last year and rightfully so a lot of my feedback was definitely correlated to me not properly handing my symptoms causing a good bit of inconsistencies in my performance especially if I lacked interest.
