Has anyone here moved from Ad agency to PR Agency? How was it?

Hi everyone! I’ve been working as a product manager in an internal consulting department at Kaiser Permanente a on software product that maps and automates clinical workflows. Although my title is a consultant, my role entails the usual responsibilities of a PM (prioritizing builds and features, identifying business requirements, mapping user journeys and stakeholder management). Does anyone have any advice on ways to break into tech or suggestions of companies to look into?

Just starting in cloud work, what certs would you recommend to start the learning process? AWS, Microsoft, Comptia etc…TIA!

4.5 YOE. s3 advisory looking to move to Finance or stay in advisory. Offer in Valuation as a second year analyst (85K). or just go to business transformation consulting at $105K. i hate leaving money on the table but i really like valuation. how much of a mistake is this.

What's your career path? I know firm life, govt litigation, or in-house arent for me, but I do like clerking for a Justice. I guess my question is, are there any other options aside from the first 3?

Any nurses here not have hospital experience? I work as a community nurse and have previous experience in an assisted living and clinic. I don’t have much interest in going to the hospital. What is the best way to gracefully exit a small firm where the senior partner is very high-profile, knows everyone, and is likely to be personally offended by my departure? This partner has also begun their term in a very public-facing and time-consuming position - 1 year term. I can’t do it anymore but I know it’s bad timing and I don’t want to burn this bridge. Help!

I am looking to enter big law. I had a clerkship on a state Business Calendar and am a current first year litigation associate where I have prepared for a trial, taken and defended depositions, and have extensive motion writing practice in tech, business, and employment cases. Is it a waste of time to try and make a move to big law with such few years of experience?

Just found out that end of the year I will be promoted from analyst directly to VP and since it’s such a large jump I’ll be the lowest paid VP in asset management at only $135k TC. Additionally, I take on little projects to helps friends/family. I want to pivot into Project Management, but I’m not sure how to leverage the skills I have. I am an AE moving to a PM role at my agency.

Since I will have the PM title, what is the roadmap for moving to FAANG (or similar) or SaaS digital end to end dev/implementation companies as a Technical PM/Senior PM/Program Manager?

I have 5 YOE in Account Management, 2+ of which are in heavy digital working with Dev, Digital PMs, and client tech/implementation teams.

I also have had some direct experience in PM and will be building those specific skills in my new role.

Pro Tip:
Make it SOP to have a debrief session calendared directly after major meetings, can be 10 mins
