I grew up in a low income and single parent family. Humble beginnings. Now doing an average job as an accountant. I always feel inferior and insecure during a relationship. I know it’s not good but I cannot stop feeling that way. I don’t know how to become the confident, outgoing and stress free version of myself.

Hi single parents! How do you cope with being the NOT preferred parent? They say a mom and son bond is unbreakable but my son always chooses his dad 🥲 no matter how hard I try for our relationship, he always misses his dad even if they spent the whole week together. I love that their relationship is strong, but still hurts to know he’s fine without me but not his dad!

Current analyst (1.5 YOE) here with a strong interest in DevOps and Project Management. I feel like I am slowly but surely getting pigeon-holed in L&D work. I don’t like it, but my leaders continue to tell me that all experience is good experience. Should I try to breakout and find a variety of experience this early in my career or should I try to make it to 3 years and re-evaluate then? Have you had a similar experience? What have you done?

I have got an offer based in Boblingen, Germany with 60k euro as fixed. Will it be enough for a couple with a 3 year old kid ? My major expense would be accommodation, groceries, kid’s school and transportation. Please do let me know your valuable inputs. TIA

I have received an offer from EPAM Anywhere. Now, there are two parts in the offer. One is base pay and another is Fixed Project Allowance. The base pay amount is being defined as CTC in the offer letter whereas the Fixed Project Allowance is seperate from the CTC. Now my question is, if anyone wants to switch to some other company in future, can he or she show the entire offered amount as current package to the next employer ? Or will they consider the base amount part as CTC ? Pls clarify

How many of you are doing back up care/day care/ child care vs managing children at home? I'm paranoid about entrusting someone outside my household with child care during the pandemic, my husband agrees as well. He's awesome and pitches in equally in everything! However, we are both so burned out. What's the popular vote here? What's your thoughts around this, pros and cons?

Is it normal in a long term relationship for your significant other to not support what you do and talk to you like a child every day? We live together and I feel trapped. This is so hard.

With social security potentially running out, why couldn’t it be an option for the govt to put $5k for every baby that is born in a year into an account Invested in a govt share class S&P 500 fund. Historical average is 10%+, which would provide roughly $2.7 million for a baby born today. Eventually, this would eliminate the need for soc sec tax, and would only cost $18 Billion a year instead of several trillion a year being deposited into the trust.

There are hundreds of news articles showing evidence of voter fraud (all in favor of a Biden win). Turning a blind eye to fraud just because you don’t like orange man is sending the message you don’t care for democracy.
