Has anyone used PwC’s Educational Support Plan in the US? It says staff can access up to $5,250 per calendar year. Is it simple to get approval for this as long as a justifiable and relevant to the job expense, or is it unlikely to be approved in reality?

I used this to pay for bar prep courses

Good luck!

like

Yes! It was pretty straightforward. I just needed to get approval from HR on what I was studying. It was a while ago but I think you do have to get a certain grade for the courses to be reimbursed.

Buying a house with monthly expense of $4900, although my current rent is only $2350. My total HHI with my husband is about $310K. I’m feeling weary of spending this much but we live in a HCOL area near a major city and we have high taxes. It’s hard to find anything decent under $800K. Which offer should I accept? Currently staff 2 at big 4 in Tax with CPA license. I want to leave tax ASAP. Both are public companies +1B in revenue and same salary. Offer 1 - staff revenue accountant so reading contracts, speaking with the sales team and legal team, a lot of work at the end of the months to close books and reconcile transactions to make sure we are ASC 606 compliant. This track usually leads to director of revenue. Offer 2 - internal audit staff so SOX and compliance projects.
