Isn't manager also manager at pwc lol
I have never worked at Deloitte, but I really like it here.
My two cents. Left PwC to go to Deloitte. Honestly met tons of great people at PwC, and high quality and overall personable people. Made a few friends for life. But wasn't able to get into the areas/work I wanted so made a switch. Otherwise, would have stayed.
Came to pwc from Deloitte. Very different culture. You can kiss your fancy dinners and expense budget goodbye. And in house system sucks. #missdeloitte
Overall it's exactly the same culture ..heard from people that came from Deloitte --but its eventually depends on which groups you are comparing
Ditto. Never worked at Deloitte but like pwc. But I am primarily speaking from the perspective of the tech consulting practice
I considered both and ultimately chose PwC over D because of the culture. I've been here about 18 months now and still love it. Supportive and positive culture is amazing.
I'm not sure. I worked under two bosses who came from PwC, they are literally d**ks. Changed my whole perception about PwC and when I spoke to couple of people about this, they expressed the same - that people from PwC are different. I think you should try Slalom, McKinsey or Boston for better culture.
I've heard the culture here is better than uncle D. Less stuffy/cutthroat. Coming from former D folks that have made the move. BUT a good buddy of mine left last year for Deloitte and likes it there better. Depends on your group I suppose.
No up or out in good times
Been at both. Same stuff, however you may get aligned to people you like more. It is all about the people you asking to on a given day.
D1 which practice?
Really depends on what group you're in.
I chose PwC over D due to the culture too. It does differ from team to team but I love the people I work with and the work I'm doing.
I worked in both and I like PwC better than D
So the winner is PwC !
Well yea, I mean, that's why they don't work here anymore. We don't do "dick" here. That's a specialty that pwc realized early on that we were not going to be able to be the best at, so we left that to other firms and tried to differentiate on other attributes.
