If you have an offer in hand, take it! Make sure it feels like the right cultural fit for you. I had 3 short stints AAE-SAE. Finally found the right fit for me at the next agency that offered me an Account Sup role.
Go where you are challenged. I was BORED and already knew the ins/outs at my first 3 agencies after 6 months. If you need support, there’s support to jump and do what’s best for *you* alllll over this thread 🤗
Yes take it!! Ive had short stints on my resume too.
Jump. Get that money too. I can’t see the big holding company on hiring/promotion freeze coming anywhere close to a 60% increase.
Their goal is to pay as little as possible. They retain through inertia and fear. Like a bad boyfriend, really.
Jump. Jumps for a title change are not the same as laterals.
Jump no questions
F$&@ PUBLICIS
Alsp my guess is publicis lol
1. Stay past the one year mark here, will be the first job on resume I’ve stayed at for 1+ year. Promotion possibility questionable
2. Take other offer at smaller (but still global) agency for higher title and +60% pay
GO! 60% increase is rare. Raises with promotions won’t come close. And if it’s a sinking ship, those things become even more unlikely.
Same dilemma
Thank you! Best of luck as well
Leave Publicis! Go to the new agency. No brainer
Take the money and run. Yeah, switching jobs a lot can look bad, BUT if you're switching for a promotion, then it looks fine. Also, a lot of people bounce around for the first few years. Just be prepared to explain why it was necessary.
Take the new job!! I won’t see 10 months in a role as a bad thing! Also you’ve got a better offer so who cares!! Just try to stay in the new role for over a year so those 10 month will become irrelevant anyway! Good luck!
jump jump jump!
Why is this a question? Take new gig.
JUMP NOW
If this is about Publicis then there are two holding companies with hiring/promotion freezes right now. Rhymes with shmubleyou tea tea.
Yes and there’s no word of when it will end? So lots of people who deserve promotions have to wait indefinitely
Should add that promotion possibility questionable as were under a hiring/promotion freeze
Sounds like gtb
So I found out the new place is kind of a sweatshop. would you still jump?
