I have worked in municipal government for almost 17 years. I love what I do as an Inspector, but the environment is toxic, and administration horrible. I have an opportunity to go into the private sector side, as well a second interview for another municipality doing same job. Private sector job will pay 35,000 more but will be 3 hrs away my husband is in law enforcement and can’t leave due to his position. I am working as a Collibra Architect from past 1 year and 2 months now(First gig after Uni) and honestly I dont like what I am doing, its too boring and it doesnt really involve any real development which i originally signed up for.
I sticked around here because It was something new and challenging but now whats the point.
Fast forward to past couple weeks, I've been assigned weird stuff, like "Making PPTs" and read this read that.. (spoiler alert, i've never used the things i read during work)
