So I've had 2 hiring managers and several recruiters from Amazon reach out to me about applying for some open positions with the company (android). I completed the coding assessment and now they want me to go through a round of 5 hour interviews next week. Is there a good chance I'll be hired if engineering managers are reaching out to me? I'm really not sure how badly I want to work for them and I don't want to be laid off months after being hired on. Anyone know what Amazon hiring is like?

Come on. Take the big offer. None of these work colleagues are really your friends.
What are your career and life goals? Think through those then align to a decision. All you’re gonna get here is opinions about big vs small agencies without considering who you are or what you want...bc we can’t know that 😃
Big agency names are great on resumes for career progression and more money will afford you lifestyle changes. Small agencies are more intimate which can be a good or bad thing, it’s harder to get raises and bit riskier job security, but they tend to be more fun/enjoyable workplaces.
I think it's only something you can really answer than a bunch of strangers on the internet.
Is more money important to you? In my experience, more money means more headaches. Or are you comfortable with your lifestyle right now?
Do you prefer the culture of a large or smaller agency?
Do you find your work fulfilling? Or do you don't mind it? Or are you looking for new work challenges?
New colleagues isn't a bad thing so long as you got a good vibe check in the interview.
And BTW, safe and advertising don't got well together in my experience. Maybe safer, but not safe.
