Hi Fishes
I would like to know about the client interviews (especially in data science or machine learning roles).
Are these interviews tough?
Are these interviews meant to assess technical knowledge? For example, what is binomial distribution, what are different data structures in python, ml algorithms etc.
I would request each of the nagarrians to share their thoughts irrespective of the technologies you are working.
I am thankful to you for taking time and helping me out.

Rising Star
There is always going to be friction. I combat it by engaging them early and often to align goals and objectives.
I worked for a company that was bought by a bigger company, and new people came in and it was interesting. I was low enough on the ladder that I was mostly just an observer. What I learned, and I often think about this, is a guy telling us "There's only one thing that will really make me angry, and that's if you ever tell me that's the way we've always done it." Suffice to say the people who relied on "that's the way we've always done it" didn't last very long.
Frustrating mostly. One job I worked at I had a new manager every six months. They changed the teams direction and responsibility.
It always take a bit of work to get them up to speed
Yep for sure. One changed everything that was already working well
