Know your resume inside and out. Have examples on behavioral questions, show that you can apply yourself to various situations. Read the 10-K and know aspects of the business and the competition. If you have technology like SQL or Python, be ready to possibly answer questions on those or why you can't answer. Show self awareness and no BS answers if you don't know it. Please do NOT wear a suit. This is all general advice for in person interview. How far along are you? Is this the first call with the recruiter? If so, ask the expected level for the position. Also go prepared with a pay scale in mind or let them know that you haven't had the chance to research and that you ll let them know numbers soon and that you are flexible. Let me know what else I can help with..

I completed a case study for a company about three weeks ago and they finally got back to me and said they wanted to move me to the next step which is presenting my case study. I have a week till that meeting. Would it be inappropriate for me to go back to my case study and tidy it up? I don’t think any of the main information is going to change but possibly change my headline or format of a slide.

Hi, I have given interview in TCS on 8th Oct. 2021, got mail regarding clearing the interview and submission on document on ibegin portal. Even after 1 week there is no update in ibegin portal, it still shows candidate registered for a JOB. I have mailed the HR but still no response from them. Only 20 days left for LWD. Could some one suggest it's ok to wait for TCS or not since my manager matched the highest offer i am holding.

Just realized I mistakenly misspelled the person’s name I sent an email to as part of an interview process. I so hate doing that to someone, do I follow up with a short - “Sorry X I realized I misspelled your name in the prior email, have a nice weekend” or do I just let it be? One letter off, this is what I get for responding on my phone, dang autocorrect.

Can someone explain the logic behind firms requiring masks only for unvaccinated employees? Transmission is the same whether you are vaccinated or unvaccinated, especially for the delta variant. The CDC’s website says that vaccinated individuals could “potentially” have lower transmission rates, but there’s no actual data to support this statement. It seems like a way for firms to encourage (instead of mandating) the vaccine but it ends up being a discriminatory practice. Thoughts?

Hello Everyone! Had a discussion yesterday regarding “claw backs” being included in a policy for sponsorship if the new employee leaves before 3 years. It was a declining percentage over a three year period. My POV was that it wasn’t something I’ve ever done and didn’t seem like they were sure of the hire they were making. I get wanting to save costs but at the same time doesn’t feel inclusive or welcoming. Thoughts? Have you done this or seen it work? Thanks!
