Anyone from Boston Consulting Group Boston Consulting Group (BCG) working in non-consulting - Technology/Engineering/Global Services?
How's the work life balance? Glassdoor reviews are full of "long working hours" and hence wanted to know if it's the same with non-consulting folks as well?
How far is it true across the organisation?
Please help me shed some light to decide.
Thanks.
Do I send a Thank You email to the recruiter?

If the interviewers asks, “Are you down with OPP?”, say “Yeah you know me”. You hit the basics. Try to mention any data analysis you performed in the past as well. A big thing about Deals is spotting irregularities at a high level.

Sure thing, best of luck. Just remember that more than the technical aspect, these interviews tend to be behavioral. For me, I’m looking for candidates that appear smart, ambitious and personable (someone I don’t mind working long hours with). Don’t say the primary reason you are interested is because you are bored or hate audit. Also don’t come off as a flight risk, I want to do IB and I heard this job increases my chances. Also, if you have any experience with Data Analytics tools like Alteryx or PowerBI or Spotfire, definitely mention it in the interview….
I see. I would not ever talk about exit to IB in the interview. (That seems bizarre). I heard the group wants more ppl with FDD experience so I was also wondering what I can show myself as a great asset even though I do not have FDD experience.
