Heard someone on my team say that my designs are mediocre at best. And that they "don't know why I'm still being paid when they can just use AI to generate much better work". I'm still disturbed by it, even though this happened last afternoon. Maybe I think it's sort of true. It's a really threatening and sad place to be. Has anyone else here been compared with AIs abilities? How did it make you feel?

I have been at my company for 3.5 years. One year ago (2.5 years into my employment with them) they re-leveled everyone and I was bumped to an entry level position on the terms that they changed my job title when they re-leveled, so “technically” I am at the early stages of my new title. Even though the job duties did not really change.

So, some of my co-workers simply said that they want to go ahead and start something or start looking elsewhere (career change) because they don't know how much it will last at the pace we are going in regards to case intake and pay out. Should I start panicking or simply start looking elsewhere? They even they even told me if I was looking elsewhere or planned on doing so also. I found it weird in a way.

I'll stick around for the bonus but want to make my side hustle my main career next year.
