What’s the day-to-day like for a BTS tax consultant at Deloitte? I received a verbal offer for a tax consultant position but after one of my rounds, I became weary in regard to whether this position was right for me. One of my interviewers made the work seem mostly automated and said that 99% of my job would be reviewing and not preparing; while another interviewer made the work seem like it would be similar to what I’m doing now. Can someone tell me what tax staffs do day-to-day/in busy season?
Is BCG DC still hiring?

Thanks in advance.....
I mention revenue growth, any new processes I’ve introduced or streamlined, oversight of X campaigns (if they’re worthy of mentioning/have some clout) , potentially awards if relevant
Organic growth or involvement in new biz wins
I’d also focus on tactics, what types of projects have you spent the most time on? TV? Website? Banners? Social? In the few interviews I’ve had they often look for someone who has background in something specific.
I've had my resume and LI profile evaluated by a number of people recently, including professional recruiters. The majority advised to focus on results/accomplishments in bullet point format. Most also advised not to include basic job duties, as those are already assumed by the reader and basically a waste of valuable space. Do include clients you worked on. I completely rewrote my resume and LI profile and it's working much better now.
Working much better, as in you’re getting bites now? Genuinely curious who’s hiring!
I’m curious how closely some other AD’s have to manage projects closely vs delegate and spend time on other things like new biz pitches or developing new biz?
I also include as much as possible about my relationship with VP and C-level clients. I’m seeing lots of “experience interacting with and convincing c-level executives” on job descriptions.
