I just got an offer from Microsoft! I'm posting here because I don't want to share with family and friends until I have a start date lined up, but wanted to express my excitement!

The total comp increase is pretty significant. Can't wait to start learning new skills and technologies. Hopefully a lot fewer powerpoint decks and more programming.

In the past I’ve worked in consumer lending and have been trying to get back into that field of work. My current employer hasn’t really had any openings in any department that I’m interested in and job shadowing hasn’t been an option due to how the workload of the department is. Does anyone know of any potential work from home and/or office positions open for consumer lending with good pay and benefits? I’m a quick learner, knowledgeable and hard working. Hi everyone!! This is exactly the group I've been looking for. I'll be starting my new (and first) consulting job at ZS Associates at the end of the month and I'm so nervous that I'll crash and burn. I have an offer for a PE Ops role and whilst comp is good it seems like they're hiring a pool of internal consultants to leverage for implementation projects within specific PortCos and therefore I won't be driving initiatives centrally - is this standard practice for Ops roles?

I bagged an offer letter from Global Logic, for Automation Testing, but after connecting with team got to know they are using out dated tools for testing but while interviewing they asked about the latest tools which there in the market.
So can anyone guide me what to do now , is there any criteria to switch the project inside the GL only? How easy is getting to another project with GL?

A large number of Finance partners joined my firm about as year ago from a less regarded firm known for its terrible, low-brow culture. In the group of joiners, there is one female partner who is incredibly rude, crass and disrespectful on a level I have never seen before. What should I do to avoid being staffed on deals with her? Recently I got call from my project manager to return to office from next month and I need to relocate to other state since there is no project ODC at my base location. I said am not willing to relocate due to family dependency. Am not sure how my PM will get back to me on this.
