Hi Fishes, Sometime back I was interviewed for Technical Support Job role in my domain. T1 went well. T2, in my understanding was better only (not great like T1 but not blunder. I felt it was nice and i replied majority of questions). They released the feedback after 10 days with "Not Positive". I am not totally sure with feedback as I replied majority of questions correct. I am being bit curious with "Microsoft" tag. What can be the reason?
Discussion appreciated.

My hr discussion happened on Tuesday this week, followed up with hr today and she informed that they are working on cost approval and will proceed only once they have tge approval. No timeline provided.
Yes, documents were shared over email on Monday.
Same happened with me - my domain - Cyber security
same with me. they said position on hold since july
The selection process was completed, and a welcome email was sent, which included a link to the HCL Pre-Offer Documents Submission Page, requesting numerous documents. Subsequently, HR contacted me, stating that they would initiate the offer letter approval process.
However, even after a month, the offer was not initiated. Instead, I received an email to complete the Background Verification (BGV) and was provided with login credentials for the candidate portal. The portal contained a welcome message from the CEO’s office and a link to upload the BGV documents.
I filled in all the required candidate information and uploaded the necessary documents. Concurrently, I inquired with HR about why the BGV process was initiated before receiving an offer letter. The response was unclear, only stating that the approval was pending.
Two weeks later, my references were contacted for verification by EY, and I received confirmation that the BGV was successfully completed. I informed HR and inquired about the status of the offer letter, only to be told that the approval was still pending.
Now, after two and a half months, the status remains unchanged, with no offer letter issued and the approval still pending.
This raises concerns about the time and effort invested in the process when there appears to be no approval for the position.
It is particularly disconcerting that both HR and the hiring team do not honor the welcome message from the CEO’s office.
Did they share a sample salary break up with you? If not, it's because the expected salary is high and it will require multiple approvals.
Usually once they have all the approvals for your expected salary or they decide what's the best they can offer you as per their budget, they will reach out to you with a salary breakup and will release the letter subsequently if you're ok with what they have to offer.
In your case it looks like they want to proceed with you since they have initiated BGV and all but maybe the project is still in the pipeline or approval is pending with someone who's really careless..
even after documents submission mail - 90% they are keeping profile on hold
If your expectation is too high and not an immediate joiner, maybe they can put you on hold and see of they can find someone cheaper or someone who could join earlier..
I had an interview in June as well and that time during the HR discussion itself they told they didn't have the budget to accommodate my expectation and got a regret email after 2 days.
