Hello everyone,

I am currently working for a large Independent Adjuster. I have more than 1 year's worth of experience and I'm fully versed with various insurance tools such as Guidewire/ XactAnalysis. I have also completed 4/10 CIP courses and I have my adjuster's license in Ontario. I am working towards CIP.

I'd like to make the switch to underwriting, preferably getting my foot in the door as a Junior Underwriter and making my way up. I have a university degree (BCom) as well.

Thanks.

Hi Fishes, I'm in a huge dilemma now. Im currently working with TCS and my CCTC is 10.29 LPA and I hold 2 offers, one with with Bank of America for 17.5 LPA Fixed and with CTS for 19 LPA.
My last date is Dec-30 and I received a call today from TCS HR for retaining me for 16 LPA max.
Earlier, before the call I had Bank of america in mind ahead of CTS for its work culture ,hike %, job security and other benefits. But here in TCS also I have very good role, job security and comfort. Please suggest!!

Now being at home, I have to adult by finding and making food myself - this sucks! 🤣😫

Current student looking for advice. I interned at RBC Wealth Management last summer and currently have 2 offers for summer 2023 that require a decision next week: 1 for BASF (chemical manufacturing) and 1 for Peraton (defense technology); I am also waiting to hear back from SMBC (S&T), Point72, Lord Abbett, Boeing, and Shell. I hope to break into banking next summer, and I’m interested in the Natural Resources, Industrials, and Real Estate industry groups. Any advice on what to do? Thanks!
