Shopper Marketing and Cat Man roles interest me, but I have no activation experience. Media also interests me, but I have no experience. I would love to change careers altogether but I am 55. I am working with a career coach, and he said that if I want to keep my salary, I need to stay in the same career. I have BBA/MBA in marketing. Thoughts?

I work for an ins. Company for 3 years as a case manager. I started at 70k, and have met goals and performed well, meeting all expectations required. I now only make around 75k. Recently another teammate, who has only been here for 3 months was offered between 80-85k to retain her, but she declined to make 6 figures as a COO. I, in-turn, am asking for an increase in salary. We just started a specialty program where I am doing 2-3 times the expected amount of work and now EXCEEDING

I got hired at EY after mid year. My offer letter says I’m not eligible for salary increase until 10/18.

Is that typical?

In my offer letter it stated a signing bonus to be paid on the first available payroll after my start date. Its been a month since my first paycheck and HR and the Payroll team are incredibly unresponsive to my inquiry on where this bonus is. What’s the next course of action? Legal? I’m not at ACN anymore so not looking for ACN-specific advice.

I’m a first year associate in an area of practice I really like. People at my firm are nice, but I’m not challenged. I’m thinking of finding new opportunities since my salary is below market, firm policies are unclear and I’m not challenged. Any advice on finding new positions while I’m so junior?

I have practiced for five years and make $121k as an employee of a financial services company. As the only attorney, I oversee all statewide collections efforts, from demand letter to garnishment, with a case volume of nearly 7k new cases per year, of which the majority I end up litigating. I receive only a $1k bonus per year. Is my compensation fair? My last insurance defense gig was $75k.

Anyone struggling with imposter syndrome? When I worked for a very well known Fortune500 tech company I couldn't help but feel major imposter syndrome. One- I am a woman in a male dominated industry, I didn't go to a prestigious school like most of my peers and I just didn't think I deserved to be there. Everyday was a struggle and tried to keep myself small so no one would find out I was a "fraud." Looking back on it now, wiser and more experienced, I realized how detrimental feeling that way
