Hello Everyone, I have received offer and right now I’m going through the background check. I have heard that the BC takes time. I have already informed my current employer regarding the job offer and they have given me counter offer to stay, still paying 30k less than what new company is offering. I can see on LinkedIn that they are still hiring multiple of developer for same job position. I fear I will have to compete with other and some of us will end up fired after probation period.

Beginning to consider going in house (4th, corp) - I really haven’t thought about what I want, partly because I’m not sure what’s out there/attainable. I’ve been working at Deloitte (federal) for 4 months now at the analyst level doing the typical analyst work, like building decks. The original company I wanted to work for had to rescind my offer back in March due to COVID. They’re hiring again and want me to join.
