S/o to the Veritas Technologies LLC recruiter who reached out to me via LI for an interview for an AE role. We set a date and he had an emergency the day off and asked to reschedule. Day of the reschedule; no-show’d for the Zoom Call and ignored my messages, emails and call after. completely ghosted me 👻
What’s interviewing been like for you all lately?
Advice how to stand out on a zoom interview?

Ideally, the companies you have interned with should offer you a full time position upon graduation.
they told me they don't have a full time position open at this time
Are you seeking a visa ? Lot of companies have stopped hiring folks who need visa
I am, what is so hard about providing visa that they avoid it?
Honestly the job market for AI/ML roles has been pretty brutal lately, even for people with internships and grad degrees. After sending out tons of apps and getting almost nothing, I started tracking which jobs actually responded and noticed a weird pattern - some never even acknowledged my application.
Turns out a lot of resumes just get filtered by these ATS systems before a real person even sees them. I went back and compared my resume to the posting line-by-line, realized I was missing random buzzwords even though I had the skills, just not listed exactly the same. Kind of demoralizing honestly - like, I did the work!
Might help to check your resume with one of those ATS scanners like ResumeJudge, Resume Worded, or Jobscan. They show you how well your resume matches the job description and flag stuff that ATS bots usually skip. I tweaked my keywords and formatting a bit and at least started seeing a couple more auto-rejection emails, which is better than radio silence lol.
On your applications, are you mostly direct to company sites or through LinkedIn? And has anyone you know gotten an actual offer recently?
Yes i tried using them and working on my cv with claude to improve it a lot so I'm not getting ghosted just all rejections, I apply through their website if I see a close match with my cv but if Its less relevant I use easy apply, everyone I know was finding jobs easily but they were searching like 3 or 4 years ago so I'm not sure its me or the job market changed significantly in recent years.
Applying for roles can be tough, especially in AI/ML. Using PracHub for real interview questions and coding practice might help you prepare better and improve your chances.
the problem is I'm not even getting interviews to then think about passing them
