I'm new here and would like to respectfully request information on how to gain employment within the US Court system/government in Tennessee?
I have an AA in psychology and a BA in Criminal Justice.
I haven't been in my field since graduation and have been holding down a managerial position in gaming (dealing with policy creation and compliance) and am looking for a more fulfilling role as the company and I have different values as it comes to strict adherence and favoritism.

I was recently (in April) fired from a good nursing position that I was at for 5 years. I reached out to my old ADON to get some information on where we had our vaccinations from and she told me that I should come back and the administrator that I had issues with is gone. Is this something I should even consider? I miss my patients and some of my coworkers and the pay is better, but I don't feel like I would really be welcome to come back.

Entering my 2nd year as a medical malpractice (insurance) defense litigator. My billables are 2200 per year, even during WFH and COVID while the courts are moving very slowly. Any advice as to what I should look into for an exit? I can’t hit those billables while maintaining my sanity.

I wouldn't have nearly as many issues with conservative principles if they weren't so hypocritical in how they enact them.

I'm not opposed to lowering taxes, smaller government, and respecting individual rights, but they simultaneously support bailing out big businesses, expanding church and state, and massive deficit spending to pay for dumb wars and tax loopholes for hedge fund managers.

I'd rather see our government provide food, healthcare, and shelter than any of the above things.

Do Leidos, SAIC, and other mostly-fed consulting businesses pay bonuses to all levels? If so, what does a typical bonus target look like? Booz Allen does not pay bonuses until you get to the Senior Associate level (1 step below Director) and I think that impacts employee performance and work ethic pretty dramatically. I’m wondering if not paying bonuses is common to federal contracting because of how the contracts or priced, or if this is something unique to Booz Allen.

I love what I do and I have an offer to stay in International Development and be a manager with 86k, focusing on my technical area + lots of travel.
