Hello people, how common is a Amazon to PWC move ?
I’m interviewing for a Senior Associate role and TC seems to be more competitive than role in L5.
TC $114k- Base AMZ- $73k +$38kstocks ( vesting 17k$ due next year)
TC $135k Base PWC -$81$ + Bonuses ( 50k$)
Looking for managerial skills which the PWC role avails, and L6 promo doesn’t seem to be happening soon in current role. I’m also mentally stretched. I hear WLB in PWC is just as busy but can anyone confirm if this move makes any sense. Google Amazon

Deloitte experienced hires, who all received written offers and in process of visa/ onboarding, have you heard back anything about hiring freeze? Or recruiter asked you to delay joining date?
My visa got submitted couple of days back and waiting for decision. When I reached out to recruiter to give her an update and mentioned once there’s decision will discuss on the start date before putting my 2 weeks, she mentioned “Yes, we should talk before you put notice” - Am I overthinking? Happy to refer for Deloitte US roles. DM me.

1. Why are you leaving your other firm
2. Work history/software skills
3. Some technical tax
4. Thoughts on new legislation
Behavioral and technical were part of the recorded interview, along with a personality test and math and memory games.
Good luck!!!
One was a question about estimated tax safe harbor. The “games” were all timed and had math questions and memory games like that game Simon. You really need to focus so make sure there are no distractions. My husband kept coming in to tell me we were late for dinner and I’m pretty sure I bombed it.
I just had the strangest interview ever. It was a panel that did intros on who they are and what they work on which lasted maybe 5 minutes. Then they asked me what questions I had. Basically 95% of the interview was too see if I would be a good fit for the team.
I was expecting hard hitting technical questions. I wrote out the top 20 questions I thought they'd ask and how I'd answer. I was expecting super formal but wasn't like it at all. I'm not sure what I'm saying. Maybe just be prepared as well as you can and let the chips fall where they may. If it's meant to be you'll get it.
EY 1 got it thanks a lot!! Hopefully my interview won’t be as intense as I’m expecting, really nervous!
