I have been interviewed for a Data Engineering role at Epsilon, currently awaiting an HR round for a salary discussion.

Could someone help me out with the current salary figures for a Data Engineering role in the market?

Has anyone had success renegotiating pay while remaining in the same position? The last two years have significantly changed my local market and the less-than-inflation federal pay raises are not cutting it. I'd be seeking 3 steps within my current grade, but I don't know if my management even has a mechanism to make the change if they wanted to. I am aware of the Quality Step Increase, but I don't think that's the solution here.
