Hi everyone,
I have a total 9+ work ex in Devops and Release Management. Did an executive mba with a goal of breaking into Program management but got recruited into Management Consulting . In this company for the past 3 months.
I feel that my overall skills are better off in a TPM/Program Management role.
My overall experience makes me eligible for most PM roles.
My question is how do I prep for a TPM role since I don’t have development or Scrum Master exposure. Amazon India VMware BrowserStack Inc.
Hi Mentors, seek your advice. I have done civil engineering + Project Management. Currently I'm working with project management team as planning engineer in a real estate firm.
Now I am willing to switch into Consulting domain but not getting any leads, also daily I'm applying n numbers of company on LinkedIn, Naukri and Indeed but not a single light of hope I'm seeing.
Can anyone please guide me, how should I approach to a company. It'll be a great help indeed Jacobs CDM Smith JPM

Both roles are almost same right? What’s the difference in responsibilities?
In my opinion I don't think so. Looks like it slightly differs in each org. In my current org, it seems to be 1 or 2 levels higher role. Nevertheless it might vary in other org. I'm not 100% sure though. So I need any inputs if anyone has better clarity on the role.
PMO will more probably act as central repository & process disposition.. You can get projects also sometimes but mostly it will be on org procedures , templates and resource management.. So get to know the scope from the team..
