Need an advice. YOE is 18 and present role is Program manager and present CTC is 25LPA. CTS is offering Senior manager position but CTC package is yet to be discussed. Alreday have another offer with HCL for 35LPA. How much shall I demand CTS for a counter offer. ?

Does location matter if you work at the IRS? For instance is it better (experience wise) to have the same position in DC vs NYC?

I’ve been working for my State Farm agency as a team member for 2 years. I am licensed in property and casualty as well as life and health, but only make $13 an hour. I technically can make bonuses but I’m not supposed to dig into a sale and I have to send it to a sales rep (I am service and retention mostly). My boss also has me running a retired agents office until a new one is chosen (its an hour away with no pay increase or mileage pay). Also, no benefits! Should I start job searching?

I just got a job offer for an Entry Level Software Engineer at Boeing in Saint Louis. The salary is $82,000 with an $8,000 sign on bonus. I was hoping for an offer closer to 90k base and I don’t care too much for a sign on bonus. However, this is a lot more than what I’m making now, and would be my first SWE job. Should I counter? During my first switch back in 2019 I recieved 80% hike (4.5 lpa to 8 lpa), that was such an excitement you just can't believe. I got this once my ex left me and I was happy after receiving this offer after huge sadness , sorrows given my ex.



Today I recieved 100% hike with cctc as 10 lpa but no excitement. It look like I am becoming a robot and not enjoying anything.

Don't know what to do, just going with the flow.
