Hi ,I have been interviewed and selected in S&P Global .salary almost negotiated and waiting for the offer letter to release. But seems like they are not willing to release the offer because of my 90 np . They are asking to join by 60 days but initially I told them my NP is 90. Even I am ready to take the 60 days offer but now they are not releasing offer as they want assurance. Now they are not picking calls.seems like i will loose the offer. Is there anything can be done.
So we’re going back in Sept. or what? 🤡

Has anyone worked as support and then shift to development in @salesforce.
Hi OP, don’t think that working on Salesforce platform as a Support Engineer will have any negative impact on your career. Since you have already worked on development side this will only add more value to your profile. Working on support is definitely going to be more challenging as there will be SLA to meet while working on tickets, keeping the customer centric approach while dealing with end users/clients. It will make you more professional when you play such customer facing role. You would need to keep an excellent team work approach while playing this kind of role. Keep learning and enjoy your new role, don’t get demotivated listening to other’s opinion. When you work on finding the bug which is raised by the user think it more like finding the gaps like how Sherlock Holmes finds the gaps doing proper analysis, deducing and reaching the solution. Try to ask relevant questions to the development team when they provide handover to your team. I might sound like the manager who is trying to retain you but trust me I was in the same position as you 2 years back. Now I have been elevated to the role of BA. All the best!

I was in the same boat.
I didn't join Salesforce but it's offer really helped me to get even bigger counter offers 😅.
