Does any Big 4 FDD team have work?
Hi folks, how is thoughtworks as an organisation?
Asking because I don't know much about it and have received recruiter's call today. Currently I am working in Deloitte. How is thoughtworks hikes, wlb, does it provide any benefits apart from fixed pay? My research gives me a mixed review: some say it's good, some say that thoughtworks is not stable enough like big 4 or other organisations. Pls help Thoughtworks Deloitte

What is the culture like, type of work and reputation of Capco in the Data & Analytics space?
I have some good ex colleagues who moved over there and also looked up on LinkedIn and see lots of seemingly smart and accomplished people in their D&A team in the UK.
I'll ask my ex colleagues too, but wanted to see if people here have any opinion or information on this too.
TIA

i’m going to be honest cuz you need it. being put on PIP in big 4 is difficult, you really would need to be consistently underperforming to absolute extremes. how many years of yoe do you have? you need to introspectively understand what has led to this performance: personal, you don’t enjoy the work, you may just simply not be good at it and that’s fine. but you must know the reason behind it, THEN you go to your performance manager and tell them your introspective reflection and tell them i will work on it by doing xyz and evidence it by my feedback and i know j will be back better than before by the end of 8 weeks. that’s your only way. being put in pip is having 1 foot out the door. this method hopefully helps you push that door back open again
Thanks for your reply, appreciate it.
I was on a PIP, and passed it but secured new role for 50%+ on comp. Take this as a wake up call.
Thanks for your reply. Yes I have aggressively started hunting for a new role
I’m sorry you’ve been put on PiP and you feel this way. First of all, it’s not the end of the world. This as a fair chance to improve your performance. You should focus on responding proactively to your feedback, the exact points that have been raised. Be visible. Speak to your seniors and seek their perspectives: they may be able to tell you more than they’ve been allowed to put down in writing. Overall, engage with the process and show that you want this job. Once you’re out of the woods, do reflect on whether there’s a different role you would enjoy more/be better at. Good luck!
If I resign during the PIP in UK, will I still have to serve 3 month notice period? Thanks
PIPs in big 4 are not meant to be cleared, my advice is to show face but underneath check-out and start looking elsewhere for work.
You usually get almost immediately exited and offered a settlement agreement, which for clearly provable under-performance is your notice period. If not passing your PIP is contentious they’ll sometimes add a few extra month, but it’ll come with signing a waiver that you won’t sue for wrongful dismissal.
Sorry you’re going through it, I’ve seen more and more go through them the last couple of years.

Don't worry mate, the biggest thing that can harm you is yourself, don't punish yourself, stop discussing the pain, start job hunting, tell yourself this is not your failure and it's part of your journey.
All the best, you're gonna do well don't worry.
Hello, thanks for the comforting reply. Yes I have started job hunting mate. It just that even if I dont want to think negative, the thoughts do pop up and just reduce my confidence drastically 🥲
1) Your value as a person is not equal to your value as a tax consultant.
2) Most people are poorly suited to some jobs but very well suited to others.
3) PIPs are not supposed to be cleared (despite the name). And even if you do, reputation persists. Usually best to move to pastures new - focus your efforts on that, not trying to rehab here.
