That is a great offer, and a great signing bonus. I’d take it for sure
Thank you for replying!
That’s more than managers. I would take it and quickly.
Appreciate you sharing, I likely will
I would take it asap. That’s insanely good for AFS at that level. Like I knew managers making less than that (level 7) so I’m very impressed by those numbers. AFS has more security than commercial so you should be on the safe side. Always seems to be lots of gov work to do and funding for it
Yeah most Managers make less than this. I know some new Senior Managers that make the same
AFS is doing very well. Lots and lots of govt spending. What alignment will you be in
MC tends to pay well so good alignment. I was in tech and we seemed to always get the short end of the stick (granted that was two years ago so idk what’s up with AFS tech now)
Your clearance is likely driving the salary offer. It’s a good offer and most uncleared resources at that level would prob not be in that range. The National Security portfolio is hot right now and lots of opportunities to advance. So you are in a good place if you accept.
Do it

I’ve been here several years and barely make more than that as a CL 7
The offer is good, as others mentioned. A lot of experienced hires have said it's hard to feel like they fully fit in the first year. My biggest recommendation is to not sleep on the optional events AFS provides and authentically network with people that you're interested in getting to know.
You should be fine provided the project you are assigned in AFS requires a security clearance and you fit in. Accenture has a lot of redundancy however very few have security clearance.
This is good insight, thanks for sharing!
How did you negotiate your salary? What did they start with? I think that’s a great offer.
I didn’t, I named a range and they offered within it
What’s your background??? I switched to commercial at another firm 2 years ago and I’m guessing my clearance lapsed so every time I hear about great openings with a clearance I’m like damn it ha
5 years for some of the upper level ones !
