I have been working with Cognizant for over 2 years now. The client that I’ve been working with recently asked me to apply for an internal position with them. I did so, however, now the client is saying that they are not planning to disclose this information to Cognizant and that I shouldn’t too.
I am sceptical about this situation. Can I be in trouble for joining the client’s company?

What’s the typical process for hiring/interviewing for a lateral position at an AmLaw 100 firm? Ie, how many rounds of interviews, timing between each interview, etc. Do firms typically interview X amount of people initially or does it depend on other factors?

Laid off in ‘20 during Covid. Took 5 months to land an offer, which was a role I didn’t want and at a much lower salary. Said ok, I’ll take this & keep interviewing to find something better…2 yrs, ~40 interviews and 0/7 final rounds later I’m still in the same role. The tease and effort of going deep into almost every interview process but having 0 offers and no real feedback on why I didn’t get them has made me bitter and very exhausted. Hii Sharks, I am currently with 12 L fixed and due for promotion within 6 months then my fixed might go with around 15.5 L with extra variable pay in PwC only. In pwc WFH option is there.

Now I got offer from KPMG where there are giving 16 L fix + 1 L JB. Also HR gave one day more to discuss. In KPMG need to go office at Bangalore.

Now is it worth to switch KPMG with that package by considering WOO, tax 30% effect ?
