I slept with a guy this weekend and went home without saying goodbye (aka waking him up to say goodbye). When I got a taxi, I sent him a text saying I was leaving because I was late for work (which was true). I didnt want to wake him up, but he considered this rude and unpolite from me. For me rudness was if I woke him up just to say goodbye 🤷🏻‍♂️

Is anyone concerned the push for sexual equality in pay without accordant leveling of parental leave is gonna backfire?

Here’s a hypothetical:

A company has 2 candidates, aged 25-30, equal in every respect save one’s a man the other’s a woman. Maybe the woman is a slightly better candidate overall. They’d have equal comp.

Company considers the woman a riskier bet due to possibility she’ll take maternity leave — and considers the man less risky for his ineligibility to take as much leave. 🤷

Those of you who have left a firm, do you still keep in touch with any of your former supervisors, via email, happy hour, or otherwise? How long did you wait to re establish contact? I’m in a small market and worry about perception at my current firm. TIA

Will an offer made in paper by one organization get revoked if a counter offer from other organisation is submitted to negotiate a better salary?
Also need an advice on should i submit the counter offer even if i prefer the first organisation only to improve the salary which is less as offered now?

When I was a device driver developer with 2 years relevant experience I had got calls from Nvidia and Qualcomm. Unfortunately I wasn't able to crack the interviews back then.

For next 5 years I worked mostly on application development and broadening my exposure. I am not getting even a single call from such companies now.

I have joined Techmahindra as associate security analyst on 23rd August,2021.

But the situation here is they asked for 2 year bond and I haven't submitted that, then I have signed a undertaken to sign that 2 yrs bond. Still I haven't submitted that bond.
