It's been 18 months in the project, and no work , no assignment keep on following with the Mgr, no one is responding reg the assignment and my problem is they are not willing to release from the account what can I do? During this 18 months, hardly work on month How I can I get released from the project.

I signed an offer today at another firm (woohoo) going from a large consulting firm to a industry specific M&A firm. Start date is after Labor Day. Not sure now when to put my two weeks notice in. 170 hours of PTO to use or cash out, but I’m in the middle of a project so can’t necessarily just take it. The EY partner from country x is very interested in having me join their team but not sure about my GDS partner because they will be losing billing and may not like it.
