Hi all. I am trying to determine if I am being compensated fairly. I am a tax manager (about to start my second year as manager) and have been with EY since staff 1. I was promoted to manager in June 2020 (during covid) and received a 7.5% raise. The class above me has mentioned they received much higher raises during their promotion years. My base salary is now approx. 97K. Any insights would be extremely helpful. Thanks!
Does anyone have experience interviewing with Deloitte Internal Services? I had my final interview a week and a half ago, and received positive feedback throughout. The hiring manager had positive things to say and mentioned they hoped to make a decision by the end of last week. It’s now Friday the week after. The role still shows as “Interviews in Process.” We did discuss potential start dates, but no salary. Any experience with receiving offers for an internal services role? Is this common?

Associate is an entry level role for 3 you
There isn’t any promotion until you complete 2.5 yrs in ZS
You should aim for Associate consultant role
Bhai mat krna join. AC denge to join krna nahi to 3 cycle tak promotion nhi or hike bhi kam milegi.
I was in the same situation and joined zs with 2.5 years prior experience...tumhe minimum 1.5 year wait krna pdega promotion ka and salary me bhi jyada hike nhi hoga..
Lateral joinee ke liye thoda policies alag he inki. Better hoga HR ko bolo i have 3+ years of experience to AC do nhi to tata bye.
I have recently left zs and got a better hike with a better (senior) role.

See role wise you are doing a bad choice.
Money wise its a good offer. You can push upto 10.5 fixed. One of person I know is coming with similar YOE at 10.5 fixed
See you will see your batch students here as your seniors or at 1 designation senior level and some of them might reach senior level 2 and there is a possibility you will remain at associate.
If that’s not a problem with you joina md enjoy the Zs money.
If thats a problem don’t join ZS and reapply back after 8 -12 months for Ac role.
Rest choice is yours and all explanations provided by other Zsers are valid where you will get promotion after 4 cycles minimum (i.e 2 years)
I understood your point and think the same. This is my 2nd round of HR discussion, where in 1st I stated the same thing that with this much exp, it will not be of worth. Anyways they came back saying some reason and this is my first offer. I dont see anything to push other than declining the offer. I will keep all the points in mind and think about it. Also can you tell me if the person is getting any joining bonus and if yes how much is it. I will ask for the same. Thanks!
Speaking from Experience that your old experience won't be considered at ZS if it isn't relevant. Can you explain briefly your current role?

OP a guy from Tata Digital has joined my team as Associate with 3 YOE, he is on big data stack.
He is being paid 11lpa.fixed + same benifits as yours.
Try to negotiate in the ballpark of 11 lpa, rest is upto you.

Dear OP, please avoid listening (or at least consider properly) to all the people saying it’s a bad role choice.. They seem to be new folks not taking into perspective that this used to happen 4-5 years back also.. I have already advised you what you need to do to fast track yourself to AC level, but the advice of waiting 6-8 months and re-applying can back fire unless you can prove 8 months down the line your AC-ness to the Camp taking your fit then.. I have hired ACs with 10 yoe and Cs with 7 yoe and the maturity and leadership skills are taken very seriously.. in the long run these things (6-8 months) won’t matter much compared to your chance to grow at A level organically.. Also once you have offer in hand you can try for other firms to get better offer if money is what you are looking for.. rest is your choice..
Not a good offer even role wise or money wise
Since you are coming with 3 years of prior experience, you will be expected to perform like an AC from 2nd or 3rd month itself.
Role wise AC to nahi rahoge tum but expectations AC jaisi hongi . Homegrown ZSers with 2.5 - 3 years of experience will be already at AC level.
I know i am getting lowballed here. Also i dont have any offers in hand nor do I have have any negotiation experience before this. :(
Also, While deciding don’t forget to think about WLB. Tbh it is not great, if you are okay with WLB issues then ZS is a great firm to grow.

When did you get Selection Call from HR after the Behavioural Round. Asking since I also gave the Behavioural interview round and it'll be 3 weeks, but I haven't received any update yet.
How much increment can an associate expect after one year of joining if the current is 10 lpa fixed?
12-15%
Go for AC. AC BAND STARTS AT 12.5. whatever best offer they give you for A, it would take you atleast 18 months(3 reviews) to go to AC.
