Hey all, does anyone know if BMO is on a hiring freeze? Recently received an invitation for an interview. Responded same day and have yet to receive a follow up to schedule said interview. I’ve followed up myself and have not received a response.

Is this normal for BMO, or should I assume they changed their mind and expect the doom email soon?

Hi everyone, I have a question. I am currently in the middle on of an interview process, where I am quite confident that I will get the job... but I want to work for another company that has contacted me 1 week ago to interview but hasn't scheduled the interview yet....

Asking for a friend. Is a 10k raise (75k ->85k) for a promotion to a midlevel creative position in NYC low or typical??? I feel like the raise itself which is only 13% (and inflation eats 5-8% of that) seems low and I want to encourage them to ask for more.

But if you have a case study, for example, is it better to say "Client X increased their revenue to 1,000,000 ARR" instead of "Client X increased their revenue to 987,500 ARR" ? Going for my first switch, and got offer from CTS with 11.5 ctc as etl tester.
My lwd is jan 2nd.
I got trained in Selenium in java and i think my selenium concepts/understandings are good, need some brush up on testng.
So is it advicable to kick start and brushup Selenium+ TestNG concepts in 1 month and go for automation role interviews as i dont have experience in realtime automation projects. Good or bad idea?

I’ve gradually moved on from ex-bf from 1y ago, but still to this day have this greatest fear that I’d crumble if and when I hear he is getting engaged or married to someone.

I wanted a life with him but he couldn’t see it with me (midway of our relationship) or with anyone before me. I do wish him to find his happiness.

It’s just that feelings of unworthy, unloveable, not chosen by someone you love so dearly continue to haunt me after all these times. Anyone has tips to get through this?

Anyone who is ex-consulting and moved to industry miss the events? I don't miss the lack of WLB, but I miss getting tickets to conferences, team events and DU.
Pandemic has been good and bad, since I guess no one is going anywhere, but also because industry office is closed so no in-house events either. Miss getting varied experiences across different clients and industries that consulting offered.
Anyone else feel like their world shrunk a ton when they left consulting for industry?
