Hey all, I started a career in supply chain straight of university and now 3-4 years later have lost direction. I want to move up in seniority and pay but I’m not sure how, I am not exactly sure if SCM/procurement has a bright future and if I should consider changing paths. Hey Friends, need help!! I am a developer with 1.6 YoE, got placed on-campus (NIT), can code well in Java and Python, but want to move into an analyst type role as I am not sure if I can be a good 'developer'.
Is it an ideal move for a long career, or if I want to do an MBA in future?
If so, could you please suggest how to prepare for such roles in good companies?
I feel a little lost with a lot of self doubt, and possibly need some counselling on this too. Suggestions are welcome.

Hey all ... i do PI litigation but i have a passion to help businesses with acquistions, business transactions (specific to dental and medical acquistions and sales), real estate transactions/estate planning. Hello everyone, I am currently 9 months into my first job after graduating with a BCom. I am currently working at KPMG and working towards my CPA. Only issue is I hate it have very little interest in accounting. I have seriously been considering pivoting towards a career in data and analytics by perusing a masters in data analytics or data science. Most people around me strongly encourage me to finish my CPA but I feel like it will add little to no value to a career in analytics. Thoughts?

Accepting an offer in IBD, lateraling over from consulting. Opportunity of a lifetime for me so don’t want to lose it.
But timing is horrible. I joined the Army Reserves before this opportunity was on my radar. Interviewed over several months, got the offer, but shipping out in 1 month for training for 6 months.
Do I irreversibly shoot my career by joining and immediately going on LoA? I obviously haven’t mentioned it in the interview process. Or will this be forgotten a couple years in?

I feel like so much of my job is planning and scheduling that I have 0% left to plan and schedule my personal life. Is that normal? Do I need a Microsoft to do list for normal life 😣
