Looking to get a few certifications, I have worked in both IT and HR consulting and am trying to decide between ITIL, SHRM, and PMP. Any thoughts on which would be best for future, quickest to get, hardest test? I get the cert paid for and a bonus upon completion, so trying to decide which one to pursue or the order if I want multiple.
Has anyone used a MBA consultant to help them with the admissions process? I’ll apply in fall 2020 and want to get a better idea of my profile. Any recommendations on consultants would be great!

If you could earn the same amount of $ with and without an MBA, would you still get an MBA?
What’s the top non-obvious benefit of an MBA?
Has anyone heard back from EY law about resuming H1B extensions? Mine expires in August and I am worried now. The wait is killing me.
Hey! I've always wanted to get into IB (prestige, money, you name it), however now that I'm in a more laid back environment (better WLB, "easier work") it doesn't seem as attractive as before and the pay is quite good for an analyst level (I think the pay is competitive even comparing with IB's pay in my country) . I wanted to know if anyone had the same experience and what were your thoughts (pursue an MBA and leave your comfort zone and "good pay" or just stick with it). TIA!
Hi , I am currently working with aditya birla sunlife insurance as a cluster manager(Sales Manager) . I had done my MBA in marketing. So would be opened for any good opportunity in other markets or as in insurance also. If incase training option are there, it would be good for me.
Are there top consulting firms that take on experienced consultants w/o an MBA? I refuse to get an MBA and not sure if that precludes me from joining a top consulting firm. Thoughts?
MBB 🐠: I’ve got 3yrs consulting experience at IBM (agile exp.), state school for undergrad, CSM and secret clearance. Do I have a shot at associate at MBB or do I absolutely need to pursue MBA first?
Is getting CFE worth it? I’ve failed the 3 different sections of the CPA and I am giving up. But I would like some kind of certification to look a tad more marketable. Thoughts?
L1B to L1A then EBC1 - possible? I’m currently on a L1B at Accenture, based in US which will expire soon and getting extended. Accenture hasn’t been super helpful with my immigration inquires. I’m up for manager and debating if I should do the L1B to L1A transfer or just wait it out until my L1B expires. Do I not qualify for EBC1 since I got my L1A in the country and not prior to transferring with that 1 year managerial experience abroad?
My current firm is filing for H1B extension (and LCA) but at the same time, I am also interviewing and may potentially leave soon and my h1b will need to be transferred. Would this cause any issues?
Is your rank / service line important for H1B specialty occupation? (Ie. Do consultants have higher chance of approval than auditors?
Took my last CPA exam this morning and hopefully I can just be done. Dont think I did as well as I could have and really just want this process to be over.
I accepted an offer and employer started H1b processing, now I have another offer giving me around 10% more from earlier offer. Should I asked for equalization or is it something unethical? Appreciate your responses.
Got selected in H1B lottery and thinking of changing firms. Will doing so before approval invalidate my H1B application?
Thoughts on the house reconciliation bill? Especially the immigration texts.. do you guys think it would pass?
I just got promoted over a friend and I am really worried about how this will impact her. To be honest I think she is even more deserving of the promotion than me. What do I do to make it better so our friendship isn’t poisoned by this?

Strategy and implementation role (omni channel design) versus functional ownership (procurement and planning). How to think about pros and cons?
Is asset management a difficult path post-MBA? Are there any lucrative finance roles outside of IB that are available to T15 MBA grads?
Any advice on not letting frustrations come out in an unproductive way over slack chats or other virtual programs, especially as we use these more and more instead of direct discussions?
Have you ever run into a situation where you asked for more money (either a raise or when negotiating an offer) and you got it and regretted it? What are the strings attached to more $?
Hi , I have 8+ years of experience as Informatica ETL developer. Currently serving my notice and having less than 30 days notice. Kindly let me know for any openings.
I have 7.5 year of experience in Microstrategy BI tool. I have got offer from Accenture for 15.96LPA and 27% variable pay. I got another offer from infocepts for 16LPA fixed with 5% variable. I've been an EA for about a decade - I've worked at Start Ups, Post-IPO companies, and Venture Capital Firms. If you are a rockstar EA and looking for a place where people are genuine and kind, I would urge you to apply at Snapchat. Going to Snapchat was the best move I ever made. They REALLY prioritize their employees, and the benefits are absolutely incredible. I hear a lot about toxic EA cultures at *certain* other companies and Snap just does not do that. (Be warned: it's a FAST pace.)

Agreed with my boss I am to get a title bump (currently at M responsibilities) and asked me to come up with suggestions of the title I want. Manager FP&A is most traditional choice but what has traction in the market as a finance manager title since I have the freedom to choose? Strategic Finance Manager? Thank you!
What does a manager with 8-10 years in Big 4 consulting experience (5-6 years in FSI) make in the market today?
What’s generally standard among FAANG companies for offer acceptance once one is extended? If anyone has experience with this, is it one week or is it more flexible? I am trying to schedule final onsite with two companies and hoping I can get timing to line up (in the event I am fortunate enough to have offers).
Whoever said industry is better than consulting lied
Have a strange situation with a job offer. A PE portfolio company made me an offer, but is insisting on deducting taxes in their HQ state. I live in a no income tax state and will travel (cont.)
Looking for advice! Ive been with my company a few years now, and although I’ve been given multiple salary bumps I still don’t feel like I’m being paid fairly for my workload. The raises I got were only after team members left and I basically absorbed their roles, and I started off at a very low wage. I’m super thankful for the opportunities I’ve been given and don’t want to come off as money hungry, but based on market research I’m still making well below average salary for my title.
