However, I am contemplating between Associate Generalist vs PIPE position. I love PE work. However, I believe long hours in the long run will not be sustainable for me.

Previously worked at a PE fund and for a long time as a development economist in sub Saharan Africa. Degrees from UChicago and LBS. Based in London.

How long should I wait to ask for an update? I was asked to provide my citizenship status and salary range. The recruiter said once I provide that, we can move onto the next step which is a coding test, and I replied within the hour. It’s been 4 days with no update. Is it alright to reach out and ask when the coding test will be?
