Hey everyone! Second year Deloitte analyst and I’ve been interviewing elsewhere, like many others. Just got told from the recruiter that I will be getting an offer from Apple as a Program Manager in San Jose (big jump lol). Right now I’m living in a MCOL city working remote, but I would need to move for this role (eventually lol).

Saving this post so I know the type of skills to gain from my projects
What type of projects at D set you up for this role?
Your typical project management, scrum, and agile experience. Mine is also for a specific type of project which I have worked with as well. Dev experience is a plus so you’re able to talk in a technical manner as well. Sociability is also important because it’s a pretty collaborative role. That’s all I can think of off the top of my head.
Wow major congratulations 🎉
Thank you 🙂 won’t feel real until I get it in writing with the figures 😂
Did you apply w a referral?
Nope! Just kept in touch with the recruiter and she thought I would be a good fit, so that’s how the process for that role started!
What does a program manager entail?
It’s like project management, but instead of focusing on one project, you’re working with multiple projects that are related and referred to as a “program”…
Day-to-day is dealing with dependencies, scope, planning, road mapping, and impediments for the program as a whole and the projects that make it up is my understanding.
