I have offer in hand from singapore. TC is 144k(12k pm) + 24k Bonus. I am from India. I would like to understand overall work culture in Singapore. I know it will differ from org to org. But would like to understand overall picture would look like.

There are few factors i am looking for
1. Work life balance
2. Is weekend working expected.
3. Expat employment rights.
4. How friendly is the overall culture
5. Racism? 😢

Taking my shot in tech sales. Consulting was great experience but enjoyed the relationship and BD aspect more and didn’t see myself climbing to partner. Starting in a junior BD Rep role to learn prospecting and earn quota history. Took a big paycut for the potential future earnings as an Account Exec. Did I dun goof? Probably. I’m getting put up for manager a year early. I have PPMD ,SM, and M support. Pretty much support from all the key individuals on my team and in my service line. Since it is a year early if i don’t get promoted this round I know it’ll come mid year but I do expect a good salary increase still without the promo. If I don’t get the promo nor a salary increase that I’m okay with, how do I let my partner know that I will begin to entertain outside offers? some of which have offered the manager role.

So I was offered a role in Strategy Consulting in after 2 years in Risk Consulting however, after 2 years I’ve only worked on Internal audit engagements few ad hocs such as updating risk register and the delegation of authority matrix.

Honestly speaking I am doing good and I am up for promotion in October however I am not fully enjoying my time but I fear that the move would not be a good and I can’t hit the ground running which scares me.

Any advice and past experiences in such career shit?

Has PA caught up with industry? Salary ranges in industry jobs I have seen are pretty underwhelming (5% more typically)
