Emerson export engineering - 15L fixed + 1.6 variable
Wolters Kluwer - 15L fixed + 10% bonus + 1L joining bonus

Which one is better and which should i join. Emerson is calling to office from 1st days and wolters kluwer have agreed for few months of work from home.

In my organization, most with my role are commission based. I make a set salary due to the firm I work for as an account manager/ coordinator for clients… I coordinate their enrollments, working with each groups HR department as to benefits and payroll purposes, and schedule our benefit counselors accordingly. I am finding that in most cases where I compare the voluntary benefits industry, I might be underpaid. What is an appropriate base salary for a position in which commission is replaced?

Curious here - my buddy just became a “Director” of Business Development in a LCOL area for a professional sports team. He likes to brag about how much he makes but I don’t really buy it. Obviously it’s subjective depending who you ask. Also, “director” gets thrown around willy nilly now. Any idea what someone like this makes? Seems like a couple years ago he was just selling tickets which kind of sell themself. Wondering if I should go do something similar since I’m sales oriented lol.

Anyone struggling with imposter syndrome? When I worked for a very well known Fortune500 tech company I couldn't help but feel major imposter syndrome. I was hired into legato through SP software private limited, a middle man who told that

I will be reporting from the 1st day to legato itself. My ID card and laptop will also be from legato. But 1st six months of salary will be under SP software payroll. After 6 months legato will release payroll under their name.

Can I trust them and join legato or opt for other company?

Plus my first interview went pretty good, the interviewer gave this feedback himself and 2nd interview was okay but he's telling that he's pushing the team to hire me and that's why he can't offer more than 8.5lpa.. please advice?
