I accepted a position at a Canada based company. I had recently switched jobs with Project Manager Designation and the offer I accepted is of Business Analyst.

Company is all pro.

Wanted an opinion on how the demoted designation affects the resume.

Ps: I work as an ERP consultant-Functional. 3yoe

Financial advisors—how do you prepare for a meeting with a new client? What information do you need to gather? What information is useful for your pitch? Where do you find this information?

If you go for interview and you sort of know that the person interviewing you might be curious about something on your negative on your resume like why is there a gap or why were you in XX role for so long?

Do you address it pre-emptively? Or does that show insecurity and you leave the elephant in the room and wait till they ask you?

I guess this is more in the case of networking than interview like do you make your own story?

Has anybody tried to go out for the reserves as an officer? Most interested in Intelligence roles but would love to hear about experiences that people have had.

I have around 1 year of experience and i am not that experienced with negotiating salaries. I wanted to ask how do you ask for 2x or 3x hike on your current ctc as tbh sometimes i feel that i might not get a callback from recruiter if i ask for 2x hike.
