Hi Team, Can someone advise on this - I completed 2 rounds with Infosys, 1 technical and 1 managerial. Right after the managerial round I got email from HR to fill an application form and give other details. It has been 3 days since then and no update. On the portal it is showing 3 interviews as green and in review data in yellow. What does this mean? Tech - DevOps / 5.8 years Infosys
Hi Fishes,
Does Deloitte USI have any cool down period, if you apply and do not get any response from the company? I had previously applied in a role, but didn't hear back from them. So, I'm planning to try to apply via referral this time and I'm wondering if I should use the same e-mail ID or a different one! Deloitte USI

Hey,
You should share your plan to give KT to assigned person which should be complete before two weeks and also suggest them that you will be available for next one month on phone to support if any emergency comes.
Thanks for the input. About the resignation plan should i go with the truth(like i got another offer) and ask for early release or should i go with medical emergency lie?
You can always buy out... That's the best option u got.. don't abscond it'll be always put in ur BGV.
I faced a similar situation where I informed the upper management that my grandmother had passed away. Since my home is in Assam, I needed to travel back and take care of my family during that difficult time. Due to the circumstances, I mentioned that I would not be able to continue working for the next 2–3 weeks.
I also explained that, given the situation at home, I would require a work-from-home arrangement for some time, which was uncertain. Therefore, I decided to resign from my position and joined another company the following week. Since my verification was already completed after my probation period, the transition was smooth for me.
Hi.... Just an suggestion... See your potential future company wouldn't like their employees not serving notice period or even leaving early right? So basically talk to them and request for a week or two more for joining.... And talk to your current company for early release of a week or two .. (check your notice period and plan accordingly on late joining and early leaving) ..... I know 2.5x is very tempting but if the background check get messed up thn you'll have issues with first impressions and even you might face trust issues from your potential future company! Basically if you can break your rules in one company... You can do it again right?.... If this doesn't work.... Go to your current company and ask for what's the compensation for early release and check with your potential future company if they could bear it (as some companies do this when they are required to hire immediate) .... If they are cool to pay 2.5x more and wants to early thn they can atleast consider compensating!!
Best of luck buddy....
Don't go for medical reasons bcz at the time of background check your current company will get to know your joining details and there is a possibility of you not having kind HR... Hope you understand what i mean....
Okay I did it earlier.
- once getting the offer letter (also tell them you may need to abscond and they should be ready with it)
- resign and go to your manager and say him/her that you want early release and ready to pay (generally that it what they do).
- if they agree its well and good.
- else tell them upfront that you will be absconding.
And till 2 week if they don't agree and then respectfully resign.
- If you really need to do this then this is the best straight forward thing to do.
Don't do drama
Buddy I did it in MNC only.
