Hey friends! So I left PwC (risk assurance, did a bit of consulting) about 4 years ago for industry, and have been working in supply chain ever since for a major retailer. Recently, a recruiter from Protiviti reached out to talk to me about open roles in supply chain consulting, and I’m trying to decide if this would be a good move or not. I know it wouldn’t be quite the same as the hours as big 4, but I don’t know enough to be sure if it’s the right fit. Any advice?

Hey OP I’m in a similar boat as you w/ PRO. Did you end up interviewing? If so, how long did it take for next steps?

like

I’ll share more in the comments if anyone wants more info, I just ran out of characters lol

Have been reached out too! Did they give you options w.r.t which service line you want to join or was it just supply chain consulting?

How many hours do you currently work? How many hours do they offer you? What salary? If you can share details we can help you

I currently work 50-60 hours a week and I make $89k base with ~5% bonus. Protiviti is “claiming” they’d offer $110k base with 10-12% bonus at 40-50 hours per week. Not putting much stock into the hours because I’m not naive and I know that hours vary, especially on consulting

$110k base for what role? SC?

It’s very discouraging to continuously receive these rejection emails. With 9 years of supply chain experience, I am not sure why I would not be able to at least get an interview for entry level roles that require no experience. Not just this one pictured but others as well. I’ve applied to maybe 60 positions since May, both mid level and “entry” and no interviews. I’ve had my resume professionally re-written twice. Not sure where the disconnect is. Anyone else going through this same thing?
