Hey friends! So I left PwC (risk assurance, did a bit of consulting) about 4 years ago for industry, and have been working in supply chain ever since for a major retailer. Recently, a recruiter from Protiviti reached out to talk to me about open roles in supply chain consulting, and I’m trying to decide if this would be a good move or not. I know it wouldn’t be quite the same as the hours as big 4, but I don’t know enough to be sure if it’s the right fit. Any advice?

Does anyone have advice for making a jump into a Brand Strategist role at an agency (large or boutique)?

My previous experience is in-house and in more generalist marketing roles that included brand and content strategy (among other hats), most recently at a DTC e-commerce brand. Now I want to make a shift to work specifically on brand strategy and am trying to figure out how best to leverage my experience in a way that agency folks will be able to understand the parallels.

I have 6.5 years of experience working with multiple SAP modules and some middleware solutions that talk to ERP. I haven’t found a niche yet..and am a functional resource not a coder. Thinking of moulding myself into an IT PMO kind of a role as I am good with people, good communication skills and very organised. Does PMO have any career growth opportunities or is it a dead end where growth is minimal and you are easily replaceable?

I’m a pharmacist and currently doing an MBA. I have only 2 YOE as a pharmacist and I’m trying to find a career path that will suit me. I completely regret choosing pharmacy and I want to reorient myself. Any advices as where to start applying? ( FYI I particularly enjoyed finance during the master)

Wondering about potential exit/in-house opportunities for different practice groups. I’m currently in big law and choosing between general corporate deal work (M&A/PE) and tech transactions. Do either of these give better in-house (or other) opportunities later on?

Thoughts on commuting 1-1.5 hour 3 days/week vs 15mins 5 days/week?

I'm considering a new job at a company that would require 3 days a week in office (might be able to talk them down to 2 days), but they're relatively far away. I'd be looking at a 20% pay increase, working in an industry I find much more interesting (firearms), and better vertical growth compared to where I am now. I just moved into a new house a few months ago, so moving again isn't an option.
