LTI - Dont know which project I will be assigned to and TIAA is in BFSI domain
Salary is almost same and profile is Business Analyst

Yoe - 8 years (5 years java developer and 3 years as BA) Larsen & ToubroTiaa global business services TIAA

Don't you think it's high time ppl start calculating in hand salary and how much % hike to ask n all?? I feel that's immatured behaviour when few of them ask these questions 😐

I've recieved an offer from Morgan Stanley, my previous salary was around 6 Lpa and last offered was around 15 Lpa (WFH), I quoted 40 to 45% on top of that around 22 Lpa considering Mumbai location, WFO and Glassdoor pay range.
Did I just do a mistake by quoting too high a number? Please let me know your opinions.
